February Bandcamp Friday

2026-02-06

for the first bandcamp friday of the year, i picked up a bunch of digital releases, and a couple items from Celia Hollander's project, $3.33.

EDIT:260207 unfortunately, i was informed by Celia that the 2025 Eaton LA fires took their home from them, along with all the music they had to leave behind there. i almost forgot how directly it impacted them. wishing many fruitful future years for our fellow artist.

an edit from an avant-performance and a special cd from a now defunct(?) label. Celia's work has an air of intrigue and i doubt these will differ

three unofficial releases from Michelle Zauner, as i'm currently almost finished reading her book, Crying in H-Mart. interested in hearing the raw personal recordings of an artist who already seems to wear her heart on her sleeve.

a small collection of solo piano, with the scores included, which i'm keen on looking at while listening. if you're interested in composition as well, i can wholeheartedly recommend his youtube (or tbh the newsletter bc i've been reading that instead of watching the past year)

more idiosyncratic techno from the mysterious label brought to us by QNDFK. of which, releases are sometimes intentionally abrasive, but this is a fun listen thru-n-thru

the guy behind Jerma985's intro/outro segments and brb jams. i've been listening to him vicariously since the age of fourteen...and never realized he was on bandcamp until recently when i searched his tracks on youtube, so i'm happy to have their work in the collection.

a prolific synthesist and i'm just now realizing, drummer(!). i believe i first heard them on LEAVING RECORDS...a bastion of multi-talented artists(!!!) so i'm looking forward to exploring their backlog

HAPPY BCF
